Speedfigs for #Wolves & #Kempton 3rd Dec + Blog

December 2, 2012

I hope to be blogging most days now after a hectic spell. I’ve just finished compiling the results for November and surprisingly Lingfield is easily the best performing track for the 100+ rated runners.

The results read:

LSP 17.44 WINS 4 RUNS 9

I’m now wondering whether the new surface is more speed favouring than before? We shall see what this month brings. Speaking of new surfaces, it probably won’t be long until Wolves have to re-do their’s after the debacle on Saturday evening. The track clearly cannot withstand the cold and as the busiest of all 4 of the tracks, they can’t afford to have any more abandonments or cancellations.

The weather forecast is slightly warmer tomorrow so the meeting at Wolves looks safe. There isn’t much interest though with a trappy looking card. I think Italian Riviera is the best bet on the card.

We look to Kempton for the higher rated runners and Tilstarr (NAP) is the most interesting of the 3 top rated. She was unlucky on her latest run when 3rd over C&D and has been dropped another 1lb for today. At 20/1 on BF she is well over priced for a race of this nature and its also worth noting that she has another 2 entries later this week.
