Speedfigs for #Lingfield 23rd Feb + Blog
Lingfield was kind to us today with several good priced winners including the 100+ runner at 5/1 SP. I go into Saturday with with a certain degree of confidence but it is Saturday so expect the unexpected.
A real dark horse and one to watch tomorrow is Clive Brittain’s Miblish. He comes off a break after being highly tried last summer and has recorded a good win in a conditions race on the polytrack surface at Kempton. Whilst he would face a stiff task to beat Dubai World Cup third placed, Plantuer, he could easily grab a place and is entered up for the Winter Derby, which is a race his trainer knows how to win.
The NAP is My Son Max who goes in the last race tomorrow and he would have won over C&D in December bar for some awful luck in-running. The race time was just a few fractions above standard and with a bit more luck today he will be very hard to beat. Franny Norton takes over in the saddle and he can defy the wide draw to come hard and late to take this.
