Speedfigs for #Lingfield & #Kempton 6th March + Blog

March 6, 2013

The quality of AW weather racing takes a steep up-turn today with good races at both meetings.

In the first Right Stuff should be backed in a match bet against Stand Guard.

Renoir’s Lady only has the one win to her name but has been holding her form well lately and she ran well to finish 3rd at Kempton on Valentines night. They have fitted the blinkers for the first time and this could be the key to keeping her focused on the task in hand.

Jim Crowley is back on board and he went close on her over C&D in December. The handicapper has dropped her by a lb and although she is no world beater, this is a weak race, so she should go very close.

Honey of a Kitten (NAP) easily got the better of Electrician in a seller last time out and the 2nd horse went on to frank that form with a subsequent game win over Flamborough Breeze back in handicap company.

David Evans’ runner has been in fine form this winter and looked to improve for the step up in trip to 1m 2f with 2 wins from 2 runs. He still looks looks fairly treated off of 66 and with Eoin Walsh claiming his 7lb tomorrow make the horse a serious danger to John Gosdens fav, Pategonia who is a massive 22pts behind on my figs. He has also been beaten twice in Maidens at short prices, so his mark of 70 might be about right.
