Speedfigs for #Lingfield & #Kempton 22nd Oct
3 of interest today. Unfortunately, Rock Up has been dealt a horrid draw in the sprint at Lingfield, it will take a very good ride from Dane O’Neil to defy stall 10.
At Kempton the inconsistent Sheikh The Reins has Steve Drowne back on board for the first time since he won on him last November. Ideally, you’d like to see some market confidence before parting with any cash. So far there has been little interest in John Best’s 4yo gelding. There is plenty of time until the off so keep an eye out.
The best chance of the 3 is undoubtedly, Pleasure Bent, the mount of Richard Hughes riding for Cumani. He won a fair race at Newbury in June and looks a type that could rapidly progress on the AW this winter. There isn’t much in the way of oppostion tonight and the market reflects that.
Rock Up 110 (11) HM2
Sheikh The Reins 117 (2) C&T
Pleasure Bent 101 (11) C&T HM3 (NAP)
