Speedfigs + Blog for #Lingfield & #Wolves 10th Jan

January 10, 2014

We have two good cards on Friday to get stuck in to.

In the first at Lingfield Ocean Legend has been presented with a good opportunity, helped by some non runners, and should hit the target today. The Tony Carroll yard have hit form this week and can knotch another winner here.

Adam Kirby has struck up a good relationship with Shaunas Spirit and made it 2-2 last month. They are biddiing for the hat-trick today off just a 4lb higher mark in a weaker race than she won last time. I’m pretty hopeful for this one at 11/4.

At Wolves there are two highly rated Marwan Koukash runners.

Lexi’s Hero has been knocking at the door recently with three good efforts in 2nd place. The lastest run she was only beaten by a nose so fully deserves to gain to success today.

Although Gabrial’s King (NAP) drops down in trip his course record means he has to be taken very seriously in a race like this. Five or his seven wins have come at the track over a variety of middle distances including over course and distance today. His latest run over 2m at Lingfield was a career best, only going down by 1.25L with the winner breaking the course record. If he arrives in the same form he will take plenty of beating.
